Bulgarian craftsmanship comes to life in the German city of Chemnitz – European Capital of Culture 2025! The Etar Museum presents the craft of bagpipe making through a colorful palette of colors and a special film dedicated to the craft and the master bagpipe maker Sabina Huneva.

Gabrovo is part of a large-scale exhibition organized by the Industrial Museum of Chemnitz, which brings together the so-called “Manchester of Europe” – cities with a glorious industrial past and a modern vision for the future.

A video has been created to present the city, telling the story of Gabrovo’s aspirations for sustainable development – building on its solid industrial traditions and looking confidently ahead

Visitors to the exhibition can immerse themselves in the stories of notable Gabrovo industrialists, prepared with the participation of the Interactive Museum of Industry – Gabrovo and with valuable archival footage provided by the State Archives – Gabrovo. In addition, they will discover the unique combination of traditional and contemporary art created by REMO “Etar” and author Nevena Ekimova.

Gabrovo’s participation in this prestigious initiative is yet another opportunity to present the city’s rich cultural, historical, and industrial heritage to an international audience.
